2 May 2023, Tuesday

In Tatarstan, during the central republican clean-up "ECO-spring 2023", the leaders of the "Eco-poster" competition were awarded, which was held in 2022 within the framework of the federal environmental program "School of Recycling: Electronics" of the Fund for Rational Nature Management. The students were awarded diplomas, Samsung smartphones and tablets, humidifiers and books "Stored", and teachers received letters of thanks for their contribution to environmental education from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

"The program "Recycling School: Electronics" has been operating in our Republic for less than a year, but it has become so popular with residents that Tatarstan residents have already collected over 60 tons of electrical scrap. Our kindergartens, schools, and budget organizations actively participate in the program," said Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic.

Chairman of the Board of the Fund for Rational Nature Management Vladimir Alentsin noted that the republic actively participates and demonstrates high results in the implementation of the program "School of Recycling: Electronics", which was launched in Tatarstan in 2022.

"It is gratifying that residents of the Republic of all ages are involved in real environmental activities. Gratuitous campaigns to collect outdated electronics are held not only on the initiative of employees of budget organizations, but also parents, schoolchildren, even kindergarten students participate! It is not surprising that the Eco-poster contest also aroused great interest in educational institutions. We see that such a format of eco-educational work is in demand, so the competition will continue this year," Vladimir Alentsin added.

The winners of the Eco-poster contest became:

Safonova Taisiya Viktorovna, 1st grade - MBOU "Multidisciplinary Lyceum No. 37" Nizhnekamsk

Yumaeva Landysh Firdausovna, 5th grade - MBOU "Verkhnetakermenskaya SOSH" Menzelinsky district

In 2023, the Eco-poster competition for students of educational institutions who have joined the Recycling School: Electronics program will continue on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. To participate, students need to prepare a poster with an appeal to peers and parents to bring used equipment for disposal on the day of e-waste removal from the institution, and teachers should organize an exhibition of works at the school, photos of which should be posted on the website, in social networks. Then fill out and send the questionnaire together with the work to e-mail info@eko-fond.ru with a note: "Eco-poster contest". When summing up the results, not only the artistic expressiveness, but also the effectiveness of the motivational poster will be evaluated. There are prizes for the winners - Samsung tablets.
