According to the Federal Law "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection", the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan stops accepting applications from citizens through the foreign WhatsApp service
In order to prevent the occurrence of cases of uncontrolled dissemination of information, including personal data of citizens, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan notifies about the termination of receiving applications through the foreign WhatsApp service.
This measure was introduced in connection with the entry into force of Parts 8-10 of Article 10 of Federal Law No. 149-FZ "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection". These norms prohibit a number of Russian organizations from using foreign messengers.
