Thedraftofthestatereport “OnconditionandprotectionoftheRussianFederation environmentin 2012” was published on the official website of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Russian Federation to initiate public discussion

ThisprocedurewasintroducedbytheorderoftheGovernmentoftheRussianFederationasof 24.09.2012 underNo. 966 “On elaboration and expansion of the annual state report on condition and protection of the environment”. This is the first time this procedure is carried out with regard to the draft of the annual state report. 

ThegivenprojectwaselaboratedsubjecttothenewProvisionon elaboration and expansion of the annual state report approved of subject to the indicated order of the Russian Federation Government. 

Resultsofthediscussionwillbereviewedintheframeworkofameeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. Following the results of the meeting, the draft of the report will be referred for expert evaluation to the Expert Board under the Government of the Russian Federation. 

Uponcompletionoftheindicatedproceduresandintroduction of necessary corrections and adjustments, the draft of the project will be referred to the Government of the Russian Federation.

FinalversionofthedocumentwillbepostedontheofficialwebsiteoftheMinistryofNaturalResourcesoftheRussianFederation and will be sent via electronic media to the concerned federal executive authoritiesbefore December 31, 2013.
