Alexander Shadrikov: "Our task is a prosperous ecological future of the Republic and each of its inhabitants"
The parliamentarians discussed the Report on the activities of the executive authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2021. Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov made a report on the work of the Ministry of Ecology.
"Over the past five years, 850 environmental measures totaling 52.2 billion rubles have been implemented on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. I would like to mention the enterprises whose contribution amounted to almost 30 billion rubles. This is a vivid example of the social responsibility of business!"- said the head of the department. If we talk about annual indicators, then in 2022 more than 15 billion rubles were allocated for environmental protection. Last year, Tatarstan took part in 4 federal projects – "Improving the Volga River", "Clean Country", "Preservation of unique water bodies" and "Conservation of forests". 6.8 billion rubles have been allocated for their implementation. Environmental measures are also invested at the expense of the regional environmental protection program. In 2022, 1.1 billion rubles were allocated.
The most important task, the speaker noted, is to provide the population with high-quality drinking water.
For this purpose, with the support of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, the Ministry, together with the subordinate institution of the State Institution "NPO Geocenter RT", is conducting an audit of water intakes. It has already been held in 14 districts of Tatarstan, 1629 water points have been examined. The work is extremely important, because the license obtained is a guarantee of the quality of drinking water.
