The final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren in ecology has started in Kazan
Kazan welcomed guests from different parts of our country to launch the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren in ecology.
The Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism became the venue for the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of Schoolchildren in Ecology, where 309 participants from all regions of Russia were invited.
Participants will have to complete the tasks of the theoretical and project tours. In addition to the competitions, interesting cultural and educational events dedicated to the Year of the Teacher and Mentor will be organized. The children will take an excursion to the state historical, architectural and art museum-reserve "Island-grad Sviyazhsk" in Zelenodolsk district. And accompanying persons will take part in the conference "Ecology and Sustainable Development", as well as in the seminar "Ecology and sustainable development: the Olympiad movement".

The All-Russian Olympiad of Schoolchildren is held annually in 24 subjects from September 1 to June 30. It includes four stages: school, municipal, regional and final. The diplomas of the winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad, valid for four years, give the right to enter leading Russian universities without exams in the corresponding profile.
