Within the framework of the Tatarstan International Forum on Energy and Energy Resource Efficiency, a panel discussion "Low-carbon energy – prospects for further development" was held. Decarbonization issues were discussed here, taking into account the current geopolitical and economic situation, as well as the development of the carbon units market.
The organizers of the panel discussion were the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, SAA "Center for Energy-Efficient Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan.
"The main task in ensuring environmental safety in the energy sector is to find a balance between resource conservation and technology improvement – this is the only way to achieve carbon neutrality in the current conditions," Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Olga Manidicheva noted during the discussion.
