This was announced to journalists today at a briefing by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov. The clean-up day will become the equator of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, announced from April 1.
"Within the framework of the two-month period in 2022, almost 510 thousand cubic meters of waste were taken to landfills, 19 thousand pieces of equipment were involved in the events, almost 1.5 thousand trees were planted. 750 thousand residents of the republic took part in the cleaning of territories from garbage. This year we also count on the support of Tatarstan citizens, because the main events must be completed before May 9 in order to meet our main holiday – Victory Day with dignity," Alexander Shadrikov said.
Let us recall that within the framework of the sanitary two-month period, the contest "Eco-spring 2023" will also be held in Tatarstan.
