The All-Russian campaign “Ecology of Nature is Ecology of a Family”

TheNationalPublicCommittee“Russian Family” informs on holding the All-Russian campaign “Ecology of Nature is Ecology of a Family” in 2013.

Thecampaignisaimedatfosteringecologicalawareness, thesenseofresponsibilityfor preservation of the environment, as well as harmony between family and nature in citizens of the Russian Federation.

Goals of the All-Russian campaign:

-       engage Russian families in implementation of the programs aimed at nature protection and improvement of ecological situation;

-       takemeasuresmeanttostrengthenintrafamilial relations through development of familial ecological tourism and other forms of familial participation in environmental problem solving;

-       investigation of ecological problems;

-       promotion and development of environment-oriented mind and initiatives in the field of nature protection, harmonization of interactionsbetween nature and families, as well as intrafamilial relations;

-       fosteringofintolerancetowardsconsumerattitude to nature, spreading of the information on environmental contamination;

-       supportand encouragement of families that take active part in the process of environmental protection;

-       developmentof partnership relations with entities engaged in nature protection activities, as well as with family-oriented organizations.

Various events will be organized during the campaign “Ecology of Nature is Ecology of a Family”, including arrangement and holding of the All-Russian contests aimed at nature protection and promotion of the following activity of ecological entities:

-       Photo competition “Me — My house — My country”;

-       Creative work contest “Familial eco-décor”;

-       Contest of familial environmental tourism“Ecotourism”;

-       Contest for the best arrangement “Eco-Family 2013”
