According to the prosecutor's office, it was established that, in violation of the law, a fence was illegally erected within the boundaries of the Lower Kama National Park in the territory of the Yelabuga Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan, which fenced off the capital construction object – the Alabuga cargo berth on the Kama River, owned by the company Projects and Logistics LLC. During the inspection, it was also revealed that inert materials (sand, crushed stone, etc.) were transported through the territory of the national park.
In order to eliminate violations of the law, the environmental prosecutor handed in a submission to the head of the National Park with the requirement to ensure proper state supervision in the field of park protection, to exclude the facts of its use for conducting economic activities contrary to the goals and objectives of the specially protected natural area.
According to the results of the examination of the act of prosecutorial response, the state inspector of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "National Park "Nizhny Kama" was brought to disciplinary responsibility. The administration of the institution has strengthened measures to identify violations of the regime of a specially protected natural area, as well as a requirement to the owner of the berth about the need to release the land from the illegally erected fence.
Elimination of violations of the law is under the control of the Environmental Prosecutor's Office.
