The Ministry of Ecology received an appeal from residents about the pollution of the untreated runoff of the Kubnya River in the village of Chuteyevo, Kaibitsky district. Inspectors of the Zavolzhsky territorial administration promptly went to the place.
During the survey of the territory, environmentalists revealed the fact of the discharge of untreated wastewater onto the soil and with subsequent ingress into the Vyrasilka river, which flows into the Kubnya river. Also, the laboratory staff performed instrumental sampling of water to determine the excess of the maximum permissible concentrations. During the survey of the territory, it turned out that the Komsomolsk Dairy Plant, which is located in the village Komsomolskoye of the Republic of Chuvashia, could have become an alleged source of pollution.
The survey materials were sent to the Tatar Environmental Protection Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office.
