Tatarstan is a leader in the transition to the new FGIS OPVC system

3 March 2023, Friday

According to the results of 2022, more than 1400 organizations and enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan have registered in the federal state information system for accounting and control of waste management of hazard classes I and II (hereinafter – FGIS OPVC).

Let us recall that a year has passed since the beginning of the implementation of the federal reform in the field of waste management of hazard classes I and II. The Republic of Tatarstan has been actively involved in the reform and is currently among the leaders in the transition of participants in the waste management market of hazard classes I and II to a new system of organization of activities.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan coordinates and informs users of the FGIS OPVC.  The Ministry of Ecology closely cooperates with the federal operator to clarify issues related to:

- the procedure for providing information on waste of hazard classes I and II formed as a result of the activities of enterprises and organizations,

- the procedure for concluding contracts for the provision of services for the management of waste of hazard classes I and II with FSUE "FEO" and

- other issues regarding the new waste management system of hazard classes I and II.

FSUE "FEO" also organized training webinars to support users of the FGIS OPVC.

For successful interaction in terms of waste management activities of hazard classes I and II, the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a collection of questions, suggestions and comments from users of the FGIS OPVC. Questions and suggestions have been sent to the federal operator and will be considered as part of the next webinar for users of the system, which will be held on March 23, 2023.
