Not to punish, but to warn! Tatarstan ecologists conducted preventive visits
Specialists of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a preventive visit to the plant of lifting mechanisms of LLC ZGM "Kama" in Naberezhnye Chelny.
During the professional visit, environmentalists checked regulatory documents, contracts, examined sources of emissions and places of waste accumulation. The specialists also consulted representatives of LLC ZGM "Kama" on the issues of updating the status of the NEI facility, the rules for the protection of atmospheric air and the requirements for handling production and consumption waste.
During the professional visit, violations of environmental legislation were revealed. In particular, there was no inventory of emission sources and the organization was not registered as an object that has a negative impact on the environment.
The same preventive visit was held in Kazan. Employees of the Central Technical Department of the Ministry of Ecology inspected the territory and interior of one of the city cafes. No violations of environmental legislation were detected at the inspected facility.
Ecologists of North TA paid a professional visit to ACPC "Bally", LLC "Sabatehmash" and LLC "Pegas" in Sabinsky district. The inspectors held an explanatory conversation with representatives of enterprises, where they once again recalled the mandatory requirements for the company's activities.
During such control measures, employees of the Ministry of Ecology warn legal entities and entrepreneurs in advance about the responsibility that comes in case of non-compliance with mandatory requirements of environmental legislation.
For reference: In accordance with paragraph 8 of Article 52 of Federal Law No. 248-FZ of 31.07.2020 "On State Control (Supervision) and Municipal Control in the Russian Federation", during a preventive visit, organizations may not be issued prescriptions to eliminate violations of mandatory requirements. The explanations received by the controlled person during the preventive visit are of a recommendatory nature.
