Ecologists introduced Kazan schoolchildren to marine mammals

Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology held a creative and ecological lesson for 2nd grade students of Gymnasium No. 4 of Kazan on the eve of the World Day for the Protection of Marine Mammals.

Ecologists told who marine mammals are and shared interesting facts about them. For example, that sperm whales search for food using ultrasound, and an elephant seal can sleep peacefully underwater. After interesting stories, the children were able to embody their ideas about marine animals in drawings.  Everyone turned out to have real sea paintings.

At the end of the lesson, the inspectors rewarded the children with letters of thanks and coloring books.
