4 million rubles will be paid by LLC "Kharats" for damage caused to the environment
In January last year, a complaint was received in the Zakamsky TA of the Ministry of Ecology. Residents of the village of Ilyinka, Nizhnekamsk reported illegal sand mining on one of the land plots. Specialists of the Zakamsky TA went on a raid and recorded the extraction of sand without registration of the right to use the subsoil. An excavator and dump trucks were working on the site, and according to the sand removal log organized by LLC "Kharats" 52 dump trucks were taken out.
An administrative protocol was drawn up in respect of LLC "Kharats" under Part 1 of Article 7.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation – use of subsoil without a license and a claim for compensation for damage caused to the environment was sent. The claim was not voluntarily paid. Employees of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan sent a claim for damages to the Nizhnekamsk City Court.
The court ordered LLC "Kharats" to pay 4,102,677 rubles for damage caused to the environment as a result of unauthorized use of the subsoil.
