Today, the mobile environmental laboratory of the Ministry has left again following complaints from residents of the residential complex "Salavat Kupere". For several days, the Ministry received about 20 complaints about an unpleasant smell in this neighborhood. Atmospheric air sampling was carried out at the request of residents at the address of Ilgama Shakirova str., 7a. According to the results of the analysis of samples carried out by the mobile laboratory, no exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants were found. Environmentalists also took samples using a hand-held sampling pump for analysis according to the full list of all substances. The results of this analysis will be known in a few days.
Earlier, the Ministry had repeatedly traveled to the complaints of residents of the Kirovsky and Aviastroitelny districts of Kazan, including route studies of the entire territory of the Salavat Kupere microdistrict to identify potential sources of periodic air pollution. Based on the results of the dispersion calculations, it was found that 3 enterprises maybe the main potential sources. Information about all 3 objects was transferred to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor for inspection together with the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office. According to the results of the inspections, a number of violations were found during the operation of the landfill of the MC "PZhKH". The specialists of Rosprirodnadzor issued an order to eliminate violations to the MC "PZhKH". As of today, the regulations are under control, in case of non-fulfillment of the order by Rosprirodnadzor, additional administrative response measures will be taken.
Additionally, we inform you that at the moment, in order to respond promptly, the Ministry has installed an automatic air pollution control station – AAPCS. It is installed on the territory of the MBOU "Multidisciplinary Lyceum No. 188" of the Kirovsky district of Kazan, Ilgam Shakirov Avenue, 3. Now work is underway here to connect electricity to the AAPCS. After the electricity is connected, it is planned to install the life support facilities of AAPCS (internal electrics, air conditioning, heating). In parallel, the issue of equipping AAPCS with specialized laboratory equipment is being worked out. After the allocation of funds for equipping laboratory equipment, an appropriate auction for the purchase and installation will be held. AAPCS will automatically take air samples 24/7 every 20 seconds.
