The Kazan interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office conducted an inspection of compliance with the legislation regulating the procedure for ensuring the safety of hydraulic structures

It is established that the owner of the hydraulic structure (pond in the Tatarsky Sarsaz settlement of the Pseyevsky rural settlement) in the person of the Mendeleevsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, in violation of the requirements for the safety of hydraulic structures established by federal legislation, has not ensured the fulfillment of the obligation to conduct a regular inspection of the hydraulic structure, which is one of the mandatory stages of declaration, according to the results of which, in particular, the hazard class of a hydraulic structure is determined.

Failure by a municipal entity to ensure the safety of a hydraulic structure could lead to adverse consequences in the spring and autumn period of time and create a threat to people's lives.

In order to eliminate violations of the law, the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor filed a lawsuit against the Executive Committee of the Mendeleevsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Mendeleevsky District Court of the Republic of Tatarstan satisfied the prosecutor's demands in full. By a court decision, the Executive Committee of the Mendeleevsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan is charged with the obligation to conduct a regular inspection of the hydraulic structure.

Elimination of violations of the law is under the control of the Environmental Prosecutor's Office.
