Environmentalists ordered to dismantle the illegally erected fence near the Bavlinka river
The Priiksky territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from a resident of Bavly about a dam on the Bavlinka River. Environmentalists went to the place, the violation of environmental legislation was confirmed. A fence was installed on the bank of the Bavlinka River, which restricted free access to the reservoir, which is a violation of Parts 6 and 8 of Article 6 of the Water Code of the Russian Federation No. 74-FZ and Article 8.12.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation No. 195-FZ.
The owner of the land plot was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements for a period of 60 days.
Let us remind that the water protection zone should be accessible to everyone who wants to approach the reservoir. A plot of water with a width of 5 m (for small rivers) to 20 m (for large reservoirs) is not subject to privatization. All fences and enclosures on the shoreline are illegal.
