Environmentalists have discovered a large snow dump in Kazan
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from citizens on the fact of unauthorized storage of snow on Mikhail Mil Street of the Aviastroitelny district of Kazan. Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration and specialists of the laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology carried out a visit to the address indicated in the appeal. During the survey of the territory, the fact of environmental violations was confirmed. Ecologists have taken samples of polluted snow. According to the results of bioassay, polluted snow belongs to hazard class 5, and minor excesses in sulfates, chlorides and petroleum products were also detected. The area of the polluted territory was 156 sq.m., the volume was 96 cubic meters.
A warning was issued against the owner of the land plot about the inadmissibility of violations and the need to take measures to eliminate the snow dump.
