According to the complaint of residents, environmentalists checked the "Cascade of ponds" in Almetyevsk
A message about the discharge of wastewater into a water body in the Cascade of Ponds Park was received by the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. A resident of Almetyevsk reported that a stream from sewage drains formed on the territory of the park, which flows into a local reservoir. Inspectors and specialists of the South-Eastern TA carried out a field visit. At the time of the survey of the territory, no discharge was carried out, however, traces of sewage discharge were found, which lead to the sewer manhole. Water samples were taken by ecologists. According to the results of the analysis, no exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants were detected.
Almetyevsk-Vodokanal JSC is the balance holder of sewer networks. This facility is subject to federal state environmental supervision, in connection with which all materials were transferred to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor for action.
