Trip to “Dobrograd”

Today specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the Kurkachi settlement of the Vysokogorsky region where the republican summer camp “Dobrograd” is set up. Community-minded youth, activists of voluntary movement of schools, secondary educational institutions, and public organizations take part in the work of “Dobrograd 2013” camp. 53 people aged from 14 to 18 from 18 municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan participate in the campaign. The regional youth public organization “Center of Development of Volunteering of the Republic of Tatarstan”, an organizer of the camp, has chosen three main projects for volunteering development: “Volunteers to children”, “Green republic”, and “All colors of the world”.

Elena Gilmizyanova, a Principal Adviser of the Department of ecological education and interaction with public organizations, has told about ecological projects, programs and campaigns realized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Open republican youth competition of social environmental advertising “Clear View” and the annual republican competitions “Ecoleader” and “A Human Being and Nature” have aroused children’s particular interest. 

In their turn, participants of the camp have laid on their ideas of improvement of an environmental situation in the republic, in particular, Egor Vasilyev from the Spassky municipal region has presented his project “Give a Bottle a New Lease of Life” that is actively being realized at schools and kindergartens of the Spassky region. Railya Shayakhmetova from Yelabuga has told about improvement of playgrounds and yards territories by means of secondary raw materials.
