Back in school, Elena's favorite subjects were biology and literature. Then our heroine could not even imagine that in the future her life would be connected with environmental education and upbringing.
From the first year of the Faculty of Journalism of Kazan State University named after V.I.Ulyanov – Lenin, Elena Gilmizyanova began to engage in active public environmental activities. Already at the age of 20, she was elected Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the Kirovsky District Council of the All-Russian Society for Nature Protection. "For me, the period of work in the All-Russian Society of Nature Conservation is the brightest and, in my opinion, the most productive in my work biography. We worked every day, covered the news, organized: mass events, conferences, exhibitions, gatherings, field raids. My skill – my profession – my future and the ecological future of the Republic," says Elena Gennadievna.
In her work biography, she has 35 years of experience, which she devoted to ecology. Over the years of her work in the Ministry, she initiated many environmental-educational and educational projects in the Republic of Tatarstan.
And Elena Gilmizyanova's outlet was her author's project for children with disabilities, aimed at creating a developing ecological and subject environment in rehabilitation centers, new types of eco-spaces on the territory of the centers, which are used for cognitive and recreational purposes, as well as for eco-education. For her great contribution to the cause of her whole life, Elena Gilmizyanova was awarded the Badge "For the Protection of Nature in Russia", the A. I. Shchepovskikh Medal and numerous certificates of honor and letters of thanks.
