The Ministry of Ecology awarded the winners of the battery collection campaign
The best schoolchildren and the most active schools of Tatarstan, who collected the largest number of batteries, were awarded in the Bashir Rameev IT Park. The award ceremony was attended by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov, Head of the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Nature Management Fayaz Shakirov and representatives of other ministries and departments.
Let us recall that the competition for the collection of spent current sources in all schools of the Republic of Tatarstan is held within the framework of an agreement on cooperation in the development of a system of separate accumulation, collection and disposal of spent chemical current sources in the Republic of Tatarstan, concluded in 2019 between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and Duracell Russia LLC.
Since 2019, schoolchildren of the republic have collected more than 100 tons of batteries, which were transferred for disposal.
This year, 18 winners received gifts. The most active were students of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk district.

The first place in the nomination "The most active student" grades 1-4: Sofya Andreeva – MBOU "Polytechnic Lyceum No. 182" of the Kirovsky district of Kazan. She alone collected 201 kg of batteries.
First place in the nomination "The most active student" grades 5-8: Savely Petin – GBOU "Aktanysh cadet boarding school named after Hero of the Soviet Union H. Zamanov", collected 147.5 kg.
The first place in the nomination "The most active student" grades 9-11: Vadim Shafikov – MBOU "Gymnasium No. 2" named after B. Urmanche of Nizhnekamsk district – 96.5 kg.
The first place in the nomination "The most active school (city district)": MBOU "Secondary school No. 41" of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny – 516.5 kg.
The first place in the nomination "The most active school (city)": MBOU "Gymnasium No. 2" named after B. Urmanche of Nizhnekamsk district – 266.5 kg.
The first place in the nomination "The most active school (village)": MBOU "Apastovskaya secondary school with in–depth study of individual subjects" - 325 kg.
The best students and schools are awarded valuable prizes every year.
