This month in our section "Ecology in persons" we tell you about the veterans of the environmental industry. These are the people who stood at the origins and served as a real foundation and support for the formation of the entire environmental industry in the Republic. Today our heroine is Honored ecologist of Tatarstan, one of the most experienced employees of the Ministry of Ecology Elena Nikitina.
While still a student of Kazan State University named after V. I. Ulyanov-Lenin (now it is KFU) she actively engaged in social work and became a member of the Nature Protection Service squad, during the summer holidays she went to practice in the Baikal State Reserve. Therefore, after graduating from university, our heroine already perfectly understood what profession she would link her fate with – ecology became her life's work. She started as an inspector for ensuring environmental safety of the population and worked her way up to the leading adviser of the Department of State Environmental Expertise of the Ministry of Ecology. Her work history includes more than 30 years, which she devoted to environmental protection.
Our heroine took an active part in the establishment of the Institute of state environmental expertise in Tatarstan. Conducted an environmental assessment of construction and reconstruction projects of Tatarstan facilities. "Excellent Student of Nature Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan", "Honored Ecologist of the Republic of Tatarstan" – for a responsible approach to solving problems, effective mentoring and just for the warmth that she gave and gives to the staff of the Ministry, Elena Vyacheslavovna won the love and great respect of colleagues. Now our heroine is on a well-deserved rest. Let's wish her health, and let every day be filled with joy and good emotions!
