Laboratory workshop on ecology. Educational excursions were held for schoolchildren and students of Tatarstan
The analytical laboratories of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan were visited by Tatarstan children. Thus, ecologists of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration conducted a tour of the laboratory for 3rd-year students of the Almetyevsk branch of KNITU-KAI, in the Northern TA they met with students of grades 3 and 5 of Arsk school No. 1, and specialists of the Zakamsky TA showed a mobile ecological laboratory to students of grades 7 of Nizhnekamsk school No. 27. The guys were introduced to the structure of the department – they were shown and told where and how environmentalists work. The children saw how the process of analyzing atmospheric air, water and soil is going on. Also, as part of the tour, under the supervision of specialists, students were able to practice conducting analyses of selected samples and ask all their questions. After the meeting, the guys told the inspectors of the territorial administrations about how they themselves take care of the environment by participating in various campaigns and competitions of the Ministry.
"We conduct such educational excursions regularly, because they are an integral part of the educational process and one of the types of career guidance activities, since they have a great influence on the formation of interest in the profession," environmentalists share.
