Important and interesting facts about water were discovered by students of the 8th grade of Lyceum No. 2 in Buinsk. Specialists of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan held an exciting eco-lesson for the children about the most valuable natural resource. The children took an active part in the discussions and learned what the structure of water is and what its molecules consist of. In addition, in practice, the guys checked the quality of water from local reservoirs. 5 different test tubes with liquid were prepared for schoolchildren: with water from the Buinsky spring, from the Karla river, from a puddle, from a tap and with distilled water. Eighth graders had to check the samples for the presence of odor, sediment and color. According to the results of the analysis, the guys determined the cleanest and most transparent water. Environmentalists shared ways to save a natural resource and invited schoolchildren to a lecture on the study of water quality to their laboratory.
