The Ministry of Ecology works in a consortium with 16 institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences
Today, as part of a direct line, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan spoke about how the department interacts with scientific organizations, including the Russian Academy of Sciences. "Science helps us solve complex environmental problems. The Ministry has established scientific and technical Councils on ecology and subsoil use, which include leading scientists of Tatarstan, as well as representatives of the industrial sector. This is how the dialogue between government, science, business and society is built. The task of the Scientific Council is to consider and propose projects to solve certain environmental problems and tasks," Alexander Shadrikov said. With the involvement of science, projects have also been developed for the reclamation of the Samosyrovsky landfill, the silt fields of BOSK of Kazan. Work on these facilities began last year and is being carried out within the framework of the national project "Ecology". Today, the Ministry works in a consortium with 16 institutions of the country. The Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan provides great support. Also, the Minister of Ecology, answering the question whether Tatarstan enterprises are actively cooperating, told about the agreement on the mutual exchange of data from AAPCS (automatic air pollution control stations) of large industrial enterprises of the republic – these are PJSC Tatneft, PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim, JSC TANECO. "An agreement has already been signed with PJSC Kazanorgsintez, which are also ready to install a monitoring station and transmit its data to our servers. This suggests that they are open to working together. I repeat: it is very important for us to continue this dialogue between government, business, society and science."
