The Ministry of Ecology revealed an excess of hydrogen sulfide in 24.6 MPC at the WWPS "Zarechnaya" on Gladilov Street in Kazan
The prosecutor's office of the Kirovsky district of Kazan received an appeal from a resident of the city with a complaint about the air quality in the area of Gladilov Street. Employees of the supervisory authority, together with inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and specialists of the mobile laboratory of the Central Department of Environmental Supervision of the department went to the place. Atmospheric air sampling was carried out near 17 Gladilov Street. According to the analysis, the excess of hydrogen sulfide in 24.6 MPC was revealed. According to the results of the survey of the adjacent territory, it was found that the sampling site is located in the zone of influence of the WWPS "Zarechnaya" of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Vodokanal". The results of the analysis, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office of the Kirovsky district, were sent to their address for taking measures of prosecutorial response and further referral to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Environmental Management for taking measures on jurisdiction.
