The project "Digital Professions", which is part of the federal project "Personnel for the digital Economy" of the national program "Digital Economy" is implemented by the Ministry of Finance. The program will be valid until 2024. One of the main tasks is to provide high-quality additional education in the field of IT in order to prepare specialists for the Russian labor market.
All Russian citizens over the age of 16 who have at least secondary vocational education, as well as college and university students can get an IT profession within the framework of the Digital Professions project. In addition, citizens with disabilities, parents of children under three years old, the unemployed, employees of budgetary institutions and citizens with salaries below the average for the region can take part in the program.
The bottom line is that training can be done in educational organizations (including commercial online courses), which are included in the project, and the state assumes payment in whole or in part (from 50 to 100% of the cost).
In 2021, 133 educational programs were available to students.
You can sign up for training on "Public Services". To do this, select the program of interest on the project page, fill out a questionnaire, specifying information about education and benefits in it, and send an application.
Applications are considered within five to ten days, a response about the decision is sent by e-mail.
