Residents of Nizhnekamsk reported that they noticed foam flowing out of the pipe directly into the Omshanka River. Environmentalists promptly went to the place, the fact of dumping was confirmed. Water samples were taken. According to Tatyana Mukhina, a specialist of the second category of the Zakamsky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology, the Department of environmental Supervision took samples of wastewater above and below the discharge point in the Omshanka river. The samples are in the works now. It is possible that it may be sewage from one of the car washes that are in the district and that illegally connected to the collector. A request has been sent to the Executive Committee of the district for the balance holders of the sewer pipe to take administrative measures against their owner.
The results of laboratory tests will be known in 5 days.
