Environmentalists promptly left following the complaint of residents of the Menzelinsky district and took samples of water in the Menzel River

The hotline of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal about the fishing in the Menzel River. Inspectors of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry, together with laboratory specialists and employees of the RT State Committee for Biological Resources, immediately carried out a visit.

During the survey of the territory, a small amount of dead fish was detected, and a sample of natural water was taken by environmentalists. The samples are currently in the works. The results of the analysis will be known within 7 days, after which a decision will be made on further administrative response measures.
