Specialists of the Prikamsky TA, together with employees of Union-Nerud LLC, released young sterlets into the Kama River near the village of Betki in the Tukayevsky district. More than 27 thousand fry were sent to sail here. This is how enterprises help restore the biological resources of the republic. Subsurface users replenish the fish population as part of compensation for damage caused during the extraction of minerals to aquatic biological resources. Before thousands of fry were sent to free swimming, they were raised in artificial conditions to a certain size. The weight of each sterlet is at least 3 grams, these are 1.5 and 2 month old fry. And in order for it to easily take root in the wild, the necessary conditions are created. The release was made under the supervision of a specialist of the Srednevolzhsky territorial Administration of Rosrybolovstvo. The water temperature at the time of release was 13.5 degrees According to a specialist of Rosrybolovstvo, such a temperature is quite sufficient for the young to take root. "For the first time after release, the fry experience shock due to unusual conditions: in the pool and in the river they are radically different. Therefore, the fry are disoriented. But after a while their condition returns to normal, and they begin to move actively."
The juveniles were raised by the fisheries of the Menzelinsky district.
In total, these days, both Tatarstan and enterprises from other regions of the country released 527 thousand fish fry into the Nizhnekamsk and Kuibyshev reservoirs: these are sterlet, silver carp, carp.
