In August, inspectors and specialists of the laboratory of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan went to the scene in Bugulma, where a local resident fell into a pit with bitumen. Specialists examined the spill site near the house No. 31K on Neftyanikov Street. Ecologists took samples of the liquid. According to the results of the analysis, the 5th hazard class was determined. The spill area was 120 sq.m., the volume was 60 cubic meters.m.
In addition, the inspectors calculated the damage caused to the soils. The amount of damage amounted to more than 750 thousand rubles. All materials were transferred to law enforcement agencies. A criminal case has been initiated against unidentified persons by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Bugulminsky district under Part 1 of Article 254 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Damage to land".
