In Tatarstan, you can get a 100% discount on the rental of tourist equipment by collecting garbage and waste

The project "Separate waste collection by renting tourist equipment" is being implemented in the Kamsky-Ustinsky district. The author of the project, Alina Akhmadishina, received grant support from the Tatarstan Branch of the Russian Ecological Society and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the eco-contest.
The idea of the project is simple: tourists can get a discount on the rental of tents, sleeping bags and other equipment by handing over sorted waste to the organizers.
According to the author of the project, the idea came after a walk through tourist places in the Kamsky-Ustinsky district. Each walk ended with garbage collection after hiking, picnics, which vacationers left behind. "When I returned to the Kama Estuary again, I found that the situation had not changed. I saw the same picture that was before the cleaning," says Alina.
After that, the girl came up with how to solve this problem. Alina offered to collect garbage for herself and get a discount on the rental of tourist equipment for this. And to make it all more useful for nature and more interesting for people, you can bring recycled waste and also get a discount! For example, for 1 kg of sorted waste, the discount will be 5%, from 1-5 kg, a 10% discount, and if you bring 100 kg, you can get a 100% discount.
