120 kilograms of garbage were collected by environmentalists and caring residents on the banks of the Volga River

The day before, a campaign to clean up the Volga bank as part of the action "Water of Russia" of the federal project "Conservation of unique water bodies" of the national project "Ecology" was held in Zelenodolsk.

From the coastal zone of the Volga River, our environmentalists and caring residents of the Zelenodolsk district collected 25 bags of garbage, which is about 120 kg of waste.

The campaign was held with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with a local Muslim religious organization and the initiative group "Useful People of Zelenodolsk".
