More than 5 thousand cars have been inspected by environmentalists since the start of Operation Clean Air this year
Inspectors of the territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, continue to carry out measures to identify the operation of vehicles exceeding the standards of toxicity. Since June, 5238 cars have already been checked on the roads of Tatarstan, of which 442 cars turned out to be in excess.
Operation "Clean Air" has been announced in the Republic until the end of September, the inspection of vehicles takes place on the main highways, checkpoints and enterprises. The event is held in order to monitor compliance with the standards for the content of pollutants in the exhaust gases of motor vehicles and to prevent the negative impact of vehicles on the atmospheric air.
