The conference "Industrial Ecology and Safety" was held within the framework of the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum. It was attended by First Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Shigapov, Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Olga Manidicheva, Deputy Head of the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Nature Management Lilia Gainutdinova, Head of the Russian Ecological Society for the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin and others.
The discussions were also attended by representatives of industrial enterprises, scientific and engineering organizations from the regions of the Russian Federation, whose activities are related to solving problems in the field of environmental protection, rational use of natural resources, regulation and prevention of negative environmental consequences.
At the very beginning of the conference, industry veterans were awarded state and departmental awards. Deputy Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nail Gazeev was awarded the Medal of the Republic of Tatarstan "For Valiant Labor".
Anatoly Ivanovich Shchepovskikh medal was received by the chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan, Honored Ecologist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Candidate of Geographical Sciences Anatoly Shlychkov.
First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Shigapov addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He congratulated all participants on September 1 – Knowledge Day and noted that the scientific conference is also primarily a professional exchange of knowledge. Its main goal is to jointly form priority areas of environmental protection, improve environmental safety and literacy of the population. As the Deputy Minister noted, "Tatarstan has always been an advanced region, where many pilot projects in the field of ecology are being implemented. Some of them are already being broadcast to the whole country, some are still being tested. But all these projects go hand in hand with science."
The historical significance of the scientific conference was also emphasized by the Deputy Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nail Gazeev.
He congratulated the Ministry of Ecology on the 30th anniversary, which the department celebrates this year and noted that the initiator of the creation of the Ministry was the First President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev. "Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan is a recognized regional leader in the environmental sphere of the Russian Federation. The beginning of this recognition was laid when Anatoly Ivanovich Shchepovskikh was a minister. It is gratifying that this All-Russian Conference also bears his name," Nail Gazeev said.
Reports and presentations at the conference were made by representatives of leading enterprises of Tatarstan, innovative enterprises of the Russian Federation, representatives of science.
Thus, the head of the Department of Environmental Protection and Ecology of PJSC Tatneft, Alexander Alchinov, spoke about the decarbonization projects of the Tatneft Group. The strategic goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. For this purpose, a strategic program has been developed, within the framework of which it is planned to develop renewable energy sources, capture, utilization and disposal of CO2, the creation of carbon farms and reforestation.
As for the forest planting, answering Ayrat Shigapov's question about reforestation, Alexander Alchinov noted that the company has already planted about 8 million trees. This year, about 2 thousand hectares will be planted. The First Deputy Minister of Ecology proposed to jointly choose places for planting in the future, in order to reduce the impact of diffuse effluents on water bodies due to this. The openness of the enterprise was also noted at the conference. Thus, within the framework of the Agreement signed in 2021 with the Ministry of Ecology, the enterprise transmits all data on air quality monitoring in Almetyevsk in real time (three automatic stations for monitoring atmospheric air pollution (AAPCS) PJSC Tatneft). In 2022, TANECO JSC joined this initiative. In the year of digitalization, such an open data system will be expanded to other cities. This will allow monitoring the air condition not only for the facilities of PJSC Tatneft, but also for other enterprises.
Presentations were also made by representatives of Enviro-Chemi-GmbH LLC and Polisurs LLC.
The results of his scientific research on the use of technologies that will help to analyze the dependence on climatic conditions on the spread of locusts were shared by a student of the MGIMO Federal State Educational Institution Ratmir Zaripov.
Dmitry Ivanov, Deputy Director of the State Budgetary Institution "Institute of Ecology and Subsoil Use of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan", spoke about a software package for processing data for monitoring the quality of waters and bottom sediments.
It should be noted that the entire business program was aimed at presenting the currently existing progressive technologies and developments that will be used to solve issues in the field of environmental protection and resource conservation.
Following the results of the conference, the participants who presented the best works on innovative solutions in the field of environmental protection were awarded diplomas.
