Environmentalists conducted sampling of atmospheric air according to the complaints of Kazan residents
According to numerous complaints from residents of the village of Osinovo, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration, specialists of the Laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the Volga-Kama Department of Rosprirodnadzor, carried out a visit to the territories adjacent to potential sources of pollutant emissions. Ecologists have taken samples of atmospheric air. At the time of the survey of the sites, no exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants were detected, as in the village of Osinovo, and in the zone of influence of industrial facilities.
However, in the zone of influence of a group of objects located in the immediate vicinity (SMW landfill on Khimicheskaya Street, Kazan, operated by CC "PZhKH", as well as gas flares operated by PJSC "Kazanorgsintez" and LLC UETP-NKNH). an increased content of hydrogen sulfide (0.8 MPC) was detected in the atmospheric air, which can form a characteristic unpleasant odor.
Due to the fact that all these facilities are subject to federal environmental supervision, all the results of the analysis have been redirected to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor and the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Tatarstan for further administrative response measures.
