In Naberezhnye Chelny, environmentalists took water samples at the place of illegal sewage discharge

The Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology received an appeal about illegal tapping into the storm water network in Naberezhnye Chelny.

Inspectors of the Prikamsky TA together with employees of the laboratory of the Ministry promptly went to the place. According to the survey of the territory, the discharge of presumably household effluents to the soil was found with further ingress into the Chelninka River along the terrain.

Ecologists took a water sample to determine the hazard class. The results of the analysis will be known within 10 days. A request has also been sent to identify the persons involved in the commission of the offense.
