Today, Rosvodresurs held a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on regulating the operating modes of the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama Cascade via videoconference.
The meeting was attended by members of the working group - representatives of Rosrybolovstvo, Rosmorrechflot, Roshydromet, RAO "UES of Russia", PJSC "RusHydro", JSC "Tatenergo" and executive authorities of subjects, including Volgograd, Astrakhan, Saratov regions, the Republic of Mari El.
The Republic of Tatarstan was represented at the meeting by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov.
The issue of establishing the operating modes of the hydroelectric units of the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade for the period from July 11 to August 10 was discussed.
Alexander Shadrikov at the meeting made a proposal to reduce the proposed average discharge costs for the period through the Kuibyshev reservoir hydroelectric unit to 5500-6000 cubic m/s in order to prevent a sharp depletion of the reservoir due to the projected decrease in inflow, as well as to preserve water resources for the coming periods (August-September).
This proposal was supported by Rosvodresurs and will be taken into account when making a final decision on the establishment of operating modes of reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade.
The established modes will be published on the official website of Rosvodresurs.
