Environmentalists have achieved the elimination of a long-term landfill in the Nizhnekamsk district
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received a complaint from residents of the village of Shingalchi about a growing landfill in a pit near their village. "This dump was formed several years ago. People see that there is garbage here and everyone throws their waste on top of it," local residents say. The landfill area was 9.5 thousand square meters.
The territory belongs to the Executive Committee of Nizhnekamsk district and is subject to regular cleaning of garbage in accordance with environmental requirements. To eliminate clutter and bring the territory into proper condition, the inspectors of the Zakamsky TA issued a warning to the Executive Committee of the Nizhnekamsk district.
At the moment, the Executive Committee has already eliminated the landfill and brought the territory into proper sanitary and ecological condition.
