A huge landfill, the size of a football field and a half, was liquidated after the intervention of environmentalists

Inspectors of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan have identified a large landfill near the testing site of the Apastovsky district. The total area of the landfill is 10.5 thousand sq.m. The owner of the site is the Executive Committee of the Apastovsky district.

 Zavolzhsky TA sent a statement of claim to the Apastovsky district Court with a demand to clear the territory. According to the court decision, the violator was obliged to liquidate the unauthorized waste dump by the end of August.

At the moment, the Executive Committee of the Apastovsky district has taken out all the garbage and cleaned the territory.
