As part of the Marathon of Green affairs, the winners and prize-winners of the Republican online contest "EQUEST" 2022 were awarded today
Every year, the world celebrates the Earth day on June 5. In Russia, this day has been celebrated since 2007. Also on this day, a professional holiday "Ecologist's Day" was established by presidential decree.
This day is best fit for the participants of the "EQUEST" to gather in the eco-center "DOM" and summarize the results of the annual competition.
This year 520 eco-activists, 65 teams from 23 cities and districts of Tatarstan took part in the competition. For a whole month, the participants organized conservational and environmental awareness campaigns for 12 thousand listeners and participants of the events.
The head of the Regional Youth Public Organization "It will be clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan Dilara Satikova addressed the participants with welcoming words and congratulations. She thanked everyone for their active participation and expressed the hope that next year the contest will be no less popular.
All the winners received diplomas and memorable gifts from the Youth Environmental Movement "It will be Clean" and the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
