On the same "Eco-wave". The Forum of Youth Environmental Organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan has started today
From May 23 to May 25, 2021, the VI Forum of Youth Environmental Organizations "Eco-wave" is being held on the basis of the Volga Youth Center. The Forum is attended by 190 activists from 45 environmental associations of 25 districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The participants will have a rich program, educational and discussion platforms, round tables on the exchange of experience, meetings with experts, as well as a cultural and entertainment and competition program will be held for them at the forum. "It is important to promote the development of the activities of the youth of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of environmental protection and environmental education," the organizers note.
Today, Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Egor Tarnavsky will speak at one of the Forum venues. He will talk about the implementation of programs in Tatarstan within the framework of the national project "Ecology".
One of the key events of the Forum will be a strategic session on the topic "Ecological community in the Republic of Tatarstan. Improvement and further development". The speakers will be 32 experts from 24 organizations implementing environmental projects in Tatarstan. The session will be held on May 24. Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov and Head of the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Ecological Society Azat Ziganshin will take part in it.
Also tomorrow, the full-time stage of the Republican contest of environmental socially significant projects among youth environmental associations will be held within the framework of the forum. The winners of the competition will receive grants for the implementation of their projects. The competition will be held in the following areas: environmental protection, animal protection, environmental education.
The Forum is organized by the Regional Youth Public Organization "It will be clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Ecological Society and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
