Alexander Shadrikov proposed to reduce the special releases of the Kuibyshev reservoir due to a decrease in the inflow forecast
Today, the Federal Agency for Water Resources of the Russian Federation held a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on regulating the modes of operation of reservoirs of the Volga-Kama Cascade for the coming period. The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in it. Currently, a special spring release is being carried out to water the regions of the Lower Volga. Alexander Shadrikov made a proposal at the meeting to reduce the activities of a special checkpoint (agricultural shelf) due to a decrease in the forecast of inflow to the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade. The position of the Republic of Tatarstan was also supported by neighboring regions – the Republic of Mari EL, representatives of the Ulyanovsk and Samara regions, representatives of the energy industry. The established modes will be published on the Rosvodresurs website.
