69 unauthorized landfills were identified by environmentalists during a raid along the railways
Today, inspectors of the Central Technical Department of the Ministry of Ecology, within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, together with representatives of the Gorky Railway, the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor for Tatarstan, the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office, employees of district administrations and the Ministry of Forestry of Tatarstan examined the right-of-way of JSC "Russian Railways".
During the raid, 69 landfills were found along the railways.
Thus, 2 landfills were found in the territory of the Vysokogorsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, 14 in the Zelenodolsk district. On the territory of Kazan, 55 places of unauthorized garbage storage were identified: in the Sovetsky district - 14, in the Moscovsky and Kirovsky - 24, in the Privolzhsky - 6, in the Aviastroitelny - 11. Let us recall that the departure took place along the route: Kazan - High Mountain - Vosstanie - Sviyazhsk - Kazan.
For all the revealed facts, letters will be sent to the heads of the district administration to eliminate environmental violations.
