More than a thousand Kazan residents came out today for the Central Clean-up day, which was held in the park Krylia Sovetov.
The clean-up was held in the format of a quest game. 235 teams took part in the "Clean Games" today. Each team has 3-4 people, these are activists and volunteers, residents of the city. Within an hour, all the garbage found by the team was sorted into fractions, for which they received points in the application. Together, 247 bags of garbage were collected, including 37 bags of plastic, 66 bags of glass. All this will be sent for further processing by the regional operator "CC "PZhKH".
"I want to thank all the residents of our Republic who joined the clean-up today. Every year there are more and more such caring people, and this is very important. Clean-ups are taking place all over Tatarstan today, which means that ecology really unites," said Ecology Minister Alexander Shadrikov. The participants of the action were also welcomed by Azat Khamaev, Chairman of the State Council Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy, Azat Ziganshin, Head of the Tatarstan Branch of the Russian Ecological Society, Fayaz Shakirov, Head of the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Nature Management and Andrey Mikhailov, Acting Head of the Federal Bailiff Service of the Republic of Tatarstan. In parallel with the quest,
activists of the movement "It will Be Clean" organized a festival of separate garbage collection, within the framework of which master classes and interactive platforms were held.
At the reception point of Tuesday's raw materials, participants were able to hand over waste paper, plastic and used batteries.
And the team members and all residents of the city could eat in the field kitchen. The winning teams received diplomas and gifts. After the award ceremony, together with the guys from school 117, Alexander Shadrikov, participants and guests of the ecological holiday hung bird feeders in the park and planted linden trees. Let us recall that the clean-up was held within the framework of the Republican campaign "Eco-spring-2022".
All territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology have joined the mass cleaning today.
