"Open Day" was held today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan
Students-graduates of the Department of "Engineering Ecology and Labor Safety" of the Kazan State Energy University were given an excursion at the Ministry today. The children were shown an automatic air pollution control station (AAPCS). The head of the environmental monitoring department Artur Shakirzyanov explained to the students how AAPCS works, explained the principles of its work, told what analyses are being done here and what opportunities ecologists have now to track the facts of exceeding the maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances in the air. The head of the Central Territorial Administration, Radik Nazmutdinov, and a senior specialist of the 3rd category of the same department, Nargiza Galimova, answered the graduates to the questions "Who can become a civil servant?", "What are the duties of an environmental protection inspector?", "How are violators of environmental legislation punished?" and many others. The tour lasted several hours, and at the end, of course, a photo for memory. The guys promised to return, but as young specialists of the Ministry.
