Today specialists of CSIAM (Central Specialized Inspectorate of Analytical Monitoring) of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan will go on an expedition along the Volga on a patrol vessel of eco-analytical monitoring “Flamingo” with the nature protection “Volga-M” complex. The route “Kazan-Chistopol” will take, on the average, 7 days.
The eco-analytical vessel “Flamingo” is used for pollution sources monitoring in water areas of the Kuibyshev reservoir. The Volga-M complex is equipped with the system of immersion sensors ensuring continuous measurement of the key physical and chemical parameters of water (temperature, conductivity, mineralization, concentration of oxygen and hydrogen ions in water, oxidation-reduction potential) at two depths. At the same time continuous water selection and its supply on onboard equipment for chemical analysis is carried out. By means of flowing analyzers they determine concentration of pollutants (oil products, nitrate - nitrite - phosphate - fluoride - chloride ions, ammonium ions, copper, etc.) in water. The equipment makes it possible to make analysis according to 12 parameters. The “Don” device remotely finds oil products on the water surface. The system of ultrasonic sounding examines the bottom and determines pollutants and foreign inclusions in water. More detail analysis is carried out at the CSIAM laboratories of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Specialists of the Central Specialized Inspectorate of Analytical Monitoring of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan regularly carry out water monitoring in 4 large rivers of Tatarstan: Volga, Kama, Vyatka, and Belaya.
