Ecological raid to the Mirny village

Inspectors of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an ordinary raid to the Volga district of Kazan to detect there unauthorized placement of waste. Waste deposit with total area amounting to 1000 sq. m. was formed between Mirny and Otary villages. In the course of inspection of the waste composition, documents, receipts and protocols that belong to ZAO “Kazan Plant of Artificial Leather” were found. According to the Chief Engineer of this plant Leonid Shinkarev, this year, old buildings owned by Kazan plant have been demounted. Agreements were concluded with three contractors — construction companies. As of right now, the composition of waste is being used as evidence to confirm which company is responsible for unauthorized waste discarding. The protocol was drawn up with regard to this fact. The offender will be liable to a fine from 100,000 to 250,000 rubles. Moreover, the damage inflicted on the environment will also be estimated.
