The hotline of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received a complaint from residents of Chistopol that sewage from sewage wells is flowing into the Rzhavets River. Specialists of the Volga-Kama territorial Administration went to the place, the fact of environmental violations was confirmed. Inspectors took samples of wastewater. Laboratory studies have established that there are exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of ammonium ions, nitrites and phosphates. A notice was sent to the enterprise JSC "Chistopol – Vodokanal" that representatives need to appear at the territorial department of the Ministry to draw up a protocol under Part 4 of Article 8.13 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of requirements for the protection of water bodies, which may lead to their pollution, clogging and (or) depletion, except for the cases provided for in Article 8.45 of this Code The Code". The fine under this article for legal entities is from thirty thousand to forty thousand rubles. Currently, the drains from the sewage wells have been stopped.
